Manager, Containment (Infrastructure Engineering)

Location: Onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, United States, with venue site visits as needed. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Annual base salary: $120,000–$155,000.

LA28 is organizing the Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and development of containment solutions for existing and fully temporary venues.
• Develop engineering design guides and principles by adapting IOC and stakeholder requirements to local practices.
• Coordinate Broadcast, Energy, Technology, Venue Development, and external stakeholders to align cable routes and infrastructure requirements.
• Develop streamlined, cost-effective containment solutions for Games-time operations.
• Oversee external resources and manage design reviews against departmental milestones.
• Support containment activities across site preparation, installation, operation, maintenance, removal, and remediation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with large infrastructure integration, including containment.
• Experience designing and installing event technology, data center, or related infrastructure, preferably temporary infrastructure and overlay.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and engineering collaboration software.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes, practices, and containment lifecycle activities.
• Understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with local or major sporting events, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games or the World Cup.
• Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Autodesk Cloud.
• Accredited bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
