Lead Resilience R&D Partnerships (mRNA)

What you will do

• Define and lead Canada’s R&D strategy in alignment with global priorities and the mRNA platform vision.
• Map the Canadian R&D ecosystem and identify opportunities for engagement, investment, and collaboration.
• Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across government, academia, industry, and international partner organizations.
• Originate, evaluate, and advance research collaborations, joint ventures, technology licensing, and ecosystem development initiatives.
• Develop business cases, align stakeholders on value creation and capture, and drive cross-functional execution.
• Represent hirify.global through scientific forums, industry engagement, and thought leadership in Canada.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as PhD, MD, or PharmD in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Significant experience across industry, academia, or government, including high-impact R&D partnerships or strategic initiatives.
• Experience developing strategy and translating insights into actionable plans.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across complex, multi-sector environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs and multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong judgment, communication, problem-solving, and risk-management skills.
