Senior Program Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of mission-critical satellite systems from concept through on-orbit validation.
• Manage program scope, schedules, costs, risks, performance metrics, and reporting throughout the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, business development, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and facilitate design, qualification, production, and other technical and programmatic reviews.
• Track program health using SPI, CPI, EAC, integrated master schedules, and earned value management.
• Present program status, risks, milestones, and performance recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in aerospace or another high-reliability industry, including at least 4 years in program management.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience overseeing the satellite development lifecycle from design through qualification and integration.
• Practical experience with integrated master schedules and earned value management.
• Ability to identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks while managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and schedules.
• Experience with Agile practices in hardware-focused program execution and strong written, verbal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience as an IPT lead, project engineer, systems lead, or technical lead.
• Knowledge of optical communications.
• Experience with electronics, flight software, or GNC/AOCS subsystem development.
• PMP certification.
