Project Manager, Senior Staff

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; travel up to 20%.

What you will do

• Scope, plan, execute, track, and close medical device projects in a regulated environment.
• Define and manage project scope throughout the product development life cycle.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and guide subject-matter experts through a systematic Stage Gate process.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, metrics, progress, and formal project reviews.
• Build customer relationships, negotiate requirements and expectations, and protect company interests.
• Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while responding constructively to unexpected issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience in a regulated environment.
• BS degree in Engineering.
• Experience with medical device projects and product development.
• Strong project budget, schedule, risk, communication, presentation, and customer-management skills.
• Employment is based in Austin, Texas; employment visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates with time-limited visa status will not be considered.

Nice to have

• MS degree in Engineering.
• PMP certification or a professional project management certificate.
