Senior Project Manager (Medical Technology)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States. The role requires international business travel as needed.

What you will do

• Lead new product development and cross-functional business projects from initiation through commercialization.
• Develop business cases, project objectives, statements of work, project plans, budgets, timelines, communication plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Lead project meetings, status updates, cross-functional reviews, and presentations for mid- and senior-level leadership.
• Maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools while monitoring milestones, dependencies, issues, and risks.
• Drive accountability, stakeholder alignment, continuous improvement, and change management across matrixed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in Product Development, Quality, or related functions, including at least 2 years of project management experience in a regulated or complex business environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including project plans, budgets, timelines, and communication strategies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Medical device or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with Lean concepts, process mapping, operational excellence, New Product Development, and medical device commercialization.
• Experience leading change management initiatives across cross-functional organizations.
