Location: RTP, NC, United States; hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office. In-office requirements may increase based on business needs. Travel of up to 20% is required.

What you will do
- Lead cross-functional project teams that may include internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Manage multiple projects and programs through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project charters, schedules, milestones, roles, responsibilities, budgets, and workstream interdependencies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation and resolution plans.
- Present project updates to technical and non-technical audiences and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute tools, best practices, and technology to Corporate Program Management and related strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science or engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences industry and at least 5 years in project or program management.
- PMI PMP certification or equivalent, with the ability to apply sound project management principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of drug or medical device development, lifecycle management, and associated FDA and ICH guidance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, emotional intelligence, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management collaboration tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
Nice to have
- Experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, and external partners.
- Experience coordinating activities across multiple sites, working in a matrix organization, and tracking budgets and financial activities.
- Negotiation skills and experience developing contingency plans and business cases for complex programs or projects.
