Experienced Auto Blend Claim Representative (Auto Insurance)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite role

Annual base salary: $55,200–$91,100, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Handle low- to moderate-complexity personal and business auto damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution, settlement, and payment.
• Provide consistent customer communication, explain claim processes, set expectations, and meet service commitments.
• Analyze coverage, policy conditions, exclusions, deductibles, limits, and priority of coverage across assigned jurisdictions.
• Investigate causation, liability, damages, coverage exposure, and contribution potential by contacting policyholders, claimants, witnesses, law enforcement, agents, and other parties.
• Coordinate inspections, appraisals, repairs, reserves, file documentation, referrals, and expense handling.
• Determine settlement amounts, negotiate within authority limits, prepare claim correspondence, and refer appropriate files to subject matter experts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• One year of previous auto claim handling experience or successful completion of the hirify.global Auto Claim Representative training program.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate Windows, Excel, Word, verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, judgment, and negotiation skills.
• Basic insurance contract knowledge, value determination, and settlement techniques; intermediate investigation principles.
• Insurance license acquisition and maintenance may be required, generally within three months of starting, along with continuing education.
