Claims - Liability Rotational Specialist (Insurance)

Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States; hybrid work with two office days per week

What you will do

• Manage rotating portfolios of mid-level to complex commercial auto and general liability claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Investigate claims, determine coverage, evaluate liability and damages, and manage litigation.
• Develop resolution, risk transfer, and cost-share strategies while controlling loss adjustment expenses.
• Establish accurate reserves, present large losses at internal conferences, and adjudicate claims according to company standards.
• Support multiple claims teams, attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials, and assist with audits and portfolio closures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and support less experienced staff during rotational assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of commercial claims experience, including high-complexity and high-severity general and auto liability claims.
• At least 5 years of experience handling litigated files and directing outside defense counsel.
• Extensive knowledge of tort, contract, and coverage laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong presentation, organizational, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain required state licenses and travel overnight up to 20%.
