Sr. Mission Systems Operator (Aerospace)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States. The role may involve office or hybrid work, extended hours, holidays, shift schedules, domestic and international travel, and OCONUS deployment on an approximate 60/60 rotation.

What you will do

• Oversee and direct complex airborne missions using RADAR and MX-15 systems.
• Analyze mission data and provide strategic operational insights.
• Mentor and develop a team of mission systems operators.
• Collaborate with mission leaders to optimize operational strategies.
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards during mission execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of related experience; relevant experience may substitute for education, requiring at least 10 years without a degree.
• Expert knowledge of RADAR and MX-15 sensor technologies, RADAR theory, and MX15HDi camera technology.
• Advanced experience with Crew Resource Management, Airmanship, ARC-231, and Small Secure Datalink radio functionality, including knowledge of 1,000 flight hours.
• Ability to deploy for extended periods to OCONUS locations, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, and pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
• Current valid passport, ability to obtain international travel visas, and an active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Aerospace, Engineering, or a related field.
• Leadership experience in mission-critical operations and advanced sensor-technology certifications.
• Maritime experience or a background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
• Experience with Windows 10 Falcon View, Force Map, or CRM/ORM instruction.
