TL;DR
Sr. Mission Systems Operator (Aerospace): Overseeing complex airborne missions and directing the use of RADAR and MX-15 sensor systems with an accent on mission planning, advanced data analysis, and operational leadership. Focus on interpreting sensor data, mentoring mission operators, applying Crew Resource Management and Airmanship, and supporting extended OCONUS deployments.
Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States. The role may involve office or hybrid work, extended hours, holidays, shift schedules, domestic and international travel, and OCONUS deployment on an approximate 60/60 rotation.

What you will do
- Oversee and direct complex airborne missions using RADAR and MX-15 systems.
- Analyze mission data and provide strategic operational insights.
- Mentor and develop a team of mission systems operators.
- Collaborate with mission leaders to optimize operational strategies.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards during mission execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of related experience; relevant experience may substitute for education, requiring at least 10 years without a degree.
- Expert knowledge of RADAR and MX-15 sensor technologies, RADAR theory, and MX15HDi camera technology.
- Advanced experience with Crew Resource Management, Airmanship, ARC-231, and Small Secure Datalink radio functionality, including knowledge of 1,000 flight hours.
- Ability to deploy for extended periods to OCONUS locations, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, and pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
- Current valid passport, ability to obtain international travel visas, and an active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership experience in mission-critical operations and advanced sensor-technology certifications.
- Maritime experience or a background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
- Experience with Windows 10 Falcon View, Force Map, or CRM/ORM instruction.
