Systems Engineer (Radar)

What you will do

• Lead current and future radar system design and production activities.
• Perform complex radar systems engineering, design, analysis, and sensor software development.
• Support technology development, technology insertion, prototyping, and technology demonstrations.
• Assess advanced radar system concepts, specifications, calculations, and system integration requirements.
• Plan and execute pre-production and post-production testing for shipboard radar systems.
• Work with radar interfaces and integration into the AEGIS weapons system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, or electronics engineering; mathematics, computer science, or physics are also acceptable.
• At least 8 years of industry and/or Department of Defense experience.
• Experience with radar systems integration and testing in the SPY-6 program.
• Experience with phased-array radar operations in a shipboard environment and understanding of radar system interfaces and internal operation.
• Familiarity with Dual Band Radar (DBR) systems and master and milestone schedules for testing, development, and production.
• Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.
