Real Estate Finance Assistant Project Manager (Real Estate Finance)

Location: New York, United States; onsite 4 days per week. Requires travel outside the tristate area up to 20% of the time and visits to construction sites in the tristate area as needed.

Salary: $110,000–$132,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate stakeholders, project schedules, procurement programs, budgets, and value engineering efforts.
• Identify and address project risks while maintaining project-specific governance and financial controls.
• Design and manage client financial reporting, including budget-to-actual analyses and projected completion costs.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations on financial and project performance.
• Manage cost control processes, change orders, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and cash flow projections.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or real estate-related positions.
• Strong project controls experience and the ability to establish project- or property-specific governance and financial controls.
• Knowledge of construction contract types and the ability to negotiate contracts.
• Excellent communication, analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, planning, and leadership skills.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States; hirify.global hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents, subject to limited exceptions.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or relevant certification such as PMP.
• Management consulting experience.
