Manager, Commercial Finance

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; travel required up to 15%

What you will do

• Lead financial management for the commercial shipment P&L, covering approximately $1.5B in revenue, $300M+ in gross profit, and $70M in operating expenses.
• Partner with Commercial leadership on revenue growth, pricing analytics, customer profitability, gross profit drivers, marketing ROI, and operating expense management.
• Oversee FP&A reporting, including actuals versus plan, forecasts, prior-year performance, variance analysis, and identification of risks and opportunities.
• Lead the financial planning cycle, including data collection, consolidation, models, schedules, and forecast maintenance.
• Present financial results in Monthly Business Reviews and advise leadership on corrective actions and strategic initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members while leading cross-functional financial initiatives and promoting accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred. MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of professional finance experience.
• Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate the financial impact of decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, including with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead dynamic teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; SAP experience is desirable, while Power BI or Tableau and large-data-set experience are preferred.
