Manager, Accounting and Financial Advisory Services (Financial Advisory)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid work environment with approximately 25% travel

Salary: $124,910–$236,800 annually

What you will do

• Deliver GAAP advisory, financial accounting advisory, business analytics and decision support, transaction support, and program/project management services.
• Improve clients’ financial reporting processes through technical analysis and practical process improvement.
• Supervise, develop, and train staff while contributing directly to engagement delivery.
• Manage relationships with senior managers, partners, business owners, executives, investors, and lenders.
• Support client retention and business development through high-quality advisory services.
• Participate in recruiting, professional development, training, and networking activities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in audit or financial advisory at a large accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification.
• Current knowledge and practical application of GAAP advisory principles.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel approximately 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, and comparable middle-market financial applications.
