Manager, Accounting and Financial Advisory Services

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid work environment. Approximately 25% travel required.

Salary: $124,910–$236,800 annually.

What you will do

• Deliver GAAP advisory, financial accounting advisory, business analytics, decision support, transaction support, and program or project management services.
• Supervise, develop, and train staff while actively contributing to client engagements.
• Work with senior managers and partners on client and engagement management matters.
• Build client relationships and support new business development through high-quality advisory services.
• Present analyses and communicate with business owners, executives, investors, lenders, and other senior stakeholders.
• Support recruiting, professional development, training, and networking activities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in audit or financial advisory at a large accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification.
• Current knowledge and practical application of GAAP advisory principles.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, lead initiatives, communicate effectively, and collaborate with senior client personnel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, and similar middle-market financial applications, including workflows, automated controls, data consolidation, reporting, and analytics.
