Systems Engineer Acquisition Professional (Cybersecurity)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; travel as needed.

Salary: $130,000+ USD annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products throughout their life cycle.
• Generate quantifiable system requirements from customer descriptions, system planning, design, and acquisition logistics.
• Translate high-level product strategies into system specifications and coordinate lower-level requirements with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Design system interfaces, integrate system elements, and establish development standards, practices, and procedures.
• Conduct design reviews, requirements traceability checks, performance assessments, and compliance verification.
• Develop requirements verification and customer acceptance procedures, review test plans, and participate in testing.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to start.
• At least 6 years of experience in Information Assurance, including DoD Certification and Accreditation, Assessment and Authorization, RMF, EITDR, eMASS, vulnerability management, and CMI activities.
• Experience with 8570 compliance and familiarity with Risk Management Framework protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification combined with C&A or A&A experience under RMF may qualify.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• CISSP or an equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with Space Systems Command certification and authorization procedures and U.S. Space Force SAP networks.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
