Systems Engineer Technical Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; onsite only with no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $135,035.83–$218,941.46 per year. A separate projected amount of $5,000 is also listed in the posting.

What you will do

• Review cyber system architectures, design documentation, network designs, and security processes.
• Develop and administer requirements for cyber tools and Sponsor development activities.
• Assess, verify, and validate information systems while identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities.
• Align IT infrastructure, systems, and technology strategies with business and mission objectives.
• Coordinate technical strategic plans and cyber strategies with inter-agency partners and support operations governance.
• Develop CONOPS documentation, project plans, and test cases for offensive cyber capabilities.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing documented, actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements.
• Experience analyzing projects and programs to identify technical risks affecting capability delivery.
• Experience developing CONOPS diagrams, forecasting relevant technologies, and creating comprehensive transition plans.
• Experience working with test teams and IC or DoD targeting officers on offensive cyber operations, including access, exfiltration, collection, and covert action.
