What you will do

• Support NUWCDIVNPT in a mid-senior Risk Management Framework Information Systems Security Engineering role.
• Perform Assess and Authorize activities to maintain Authorizations to Operate for applications, networks, and devices.
• Conduct independent security control assessments using NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-53A, CNSSI 1253, and NIST SP 800-37.
• Review and develop Security Plans, Assessment Plans, Security Test Reports, POA&Ms, Risk Assessments, contingency documentation, architecture diagrams, and asset inventories.
• Track stakeholder action items, attend meetings, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on eMASS.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Newport, Rhode Island; remote and telework are not allowed.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
• At least 6 years of professional cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework experience, including expert-level RMF experience.
• Experience with RMF policy development, process improvement, strategy implementation, and RMF package development.
• Must hold an 8570.01M IAM/IAT Level II certificate; Security+ is the minimum certification requirement.
• Strong knowledge of NIST Special Publications, DISA STIGs, SRGs, continuous monitoring, ACAS, STIG OSS Manager, STIGViewer, and eMASS.

Nice to have

• CAP, CASP, or CISSP certification.
• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of CMMI Software Development Level 3 or higher.
