Systems Engineer Technical Specialist (TD Support) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; onsite only with no remote or telework

Salary: $145,200.96–$234,866.03 annually

What you will do

• Review cyber system architectures, design documentation, and security processes.
• Develop and administer requirements for cyber tools and Sponsor development activities.
• Assess, verify, and validate information systems and identify technical risks affecting capability delivery.
• Coordinate technical strategies and strategic plans with inter-agency partners, Divisions, and Branches.
• Develop CONOPS documentation and support operations governance.
• Work with test teams and IC or DoD targeting officers to support offensive cyber capabilities and technical operations.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, with the ability to maintain it.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10–12 years of experience, master’s degree with 8–10 years, PhD with 5–7 years, or equivalent experience.
• Degree or equivalent background in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience creating actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable technical requirements.
• Experience analyzing technical risks, independently assessing projects, and recommending improvements to technical functionality.
• Experience developing CONOPS diagrams, comprehensive project plans, technology forecasts, and ad hoc test cases.
