Systems Engineer Technical Specialist (INFOSEC) (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $135,035.83–$218,941.46 annually

What you will do

• Assess, verify, and validate information systems and review system architecture, network designs, documentation, and security processes.
• Inspect and monitor systems, support Splunk dashboards, and ensure security compliance.
• Integrate and maintain commercial off-the-shelf tools while managing interfaces with mission networks.
• Develop and administer requirements for cyber tools and create Concept of Operations documentation.
• Coordinate technical strategies and plans with inter-agency partners and support operations governance.
• Forecast emerging technologies and align infrastructure and technology strategies with mission objectives.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10–12 years of experience, master’s degree with 8–10 years, PhD with 5–7 years, or equivalent experience in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience developing documented, actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements.
• Experience analyzing projects and programs to identify technical risks and independently assessing technical functionality.
• Experience developing CONOPS diagrams and comprehensive plans that transition cyber research concepts into mission-ready capabilities.
• Experience creating ad hoc test cases with test teams and coordinating with IC or DoD targeting officers on technical operations.
