Defense technology organization developing the War Data Platform for Department of Defense use.

What you will do

• Design comprehensive, defense-in-depth security architecture for the War Data Platform.
• Translate Risk Management Framework, STIG, and SOC 1 requirements into implementable architectural patterns.
• Own the platform’s identity and access management framework, network security zoning, and data encryption strategies.
• Design logging and monitoring architecture across data, platform, and solutions layers.
• Collaborate with Platform, Data, and Solutions Architects to embed security into the platform by design.
• Travel occasionally, up to 10%.

Requirements

• SECRET security clearance required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
• Professional proficiency in English required.
• Junior and Journeyman roles require 0–7 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a relevant certification such as CEH, Cloud+, CySA+, GFACT, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+, or SSCP.
• Senior roles require 8+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and an advanced certification such as CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, or GICSP.
• Strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
