Field Service Technician (Entry Level) - Grand Rapids, MI

Location: Grand Rapids, MI; candidate must live in the specified city and work onsite at customer facilities. Field-based service includes approximately 30% travel by car, occasional overnight travel, and on-call coverage that may include weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Starting pay: $22.99–$25.84 per hour, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.
• Service equipment used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations.
• Diagnose issues using root cause analysis and appropriate tools and data.
• Travel between customer accounts and deliver service focused on customer retention.
• Operate computers, phones, and service applications to input and access data.
• Work scheduled, extended, overnight, weekend, night, and on-call shifts as required.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
• Willingness to learn new skills through provided training.
• Working knowledge of tools, equipment, data, and service needs.
• Proficiency with laptops, cell phones, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle are required.
• Must be eligible to work onsite at customer facilities and must live in Grand Rapids.
