Field Service Technician I (Medical Equipment)

Location: Henrietta District, Henrietta, New York, United States; onsite work at customer healthcare facilities

Pay range: $26.72–$42.71 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair company- and customer-owned medical devices.
• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair services.
• Complete service paperwork and computer data entry accurately for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Explain equipment features and functionality to clinical staff.
• Travel periodically to support business needs and provide service in a 24/7 healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology; equivalent military training or CBET certification may qualify.
• Basic computer skills and an understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and perform frequent physical movements including bending, climbing, kneeling, standing, and walking.
• Vaccinations or proof of current vaccination status may be required based on customer or company requirements.
