Technician III, Process/Utility Maintenance (GMP)

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; fully onsite with no remote work eligibility

Salary: $63,200–$100,900 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

hirify.global develops mRNA medicines and operates a GMP facility in Marlborough supporting individualized therapy clinical-to-commercial manufacturing.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across manufacturing, utility, and facility systems in a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on critical process equipment in real time to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
• Document maintenance activities in Maximo and support equipment calibration, validation, commissioning, and lifecycle management.
• Provide first-line technical support for production-critical systems and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities, manage spare-parts inventory, and develop procedures to improve equipment reliability.
• Train junior technicians and promote GMP compliance, safety, and accountability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Technical certification or an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred; equivalent military training is acceptable.
• Full-time presence at the hirify.global site in Marlborough is required; the role is not eligible for remote work.
• Must already hold US work authorization and maintain it without future immigration sponsorship.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, and communicate technical information effectively.
• Physical stamina for manual work and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance systems.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a cGMP environment.
• Familiarity with GMP documentation practices and CMMS systems such as Maximo.
• Experience supporting calibration, validation, or commissioning activities.
