Field Service Technician (Entry Level) - Madison, WI

Location: Madison, WI; candidate must live in the specified city and work onsite at customer locations.

Salary: $24.18–$27.16 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.
• Service equipment used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations.
• Diagnose issues using root cause analysis and appropriate tools and data.
• Travel between customer accounts, spending approximately 30% of the workday driving.
• Provide onsite service and maintenance while meeting occupational health and safety requirements.
• Work assigned schedules that may include 12-hour shifts, weekends, nights, holidays, and on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Must live in Madison, WI.
• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and use tools, laptops, phones, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle are required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in variable temperatures, dust, dirt, and uneven outdoor conditions.
