Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager-Stormwater

Salary: USD $100,006.40–$150,000 per year, plus potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and perform civil and environmental engineering design work focused on stormwater management.
• Manage project budgets, scopes, schedules, regulatory submittals, and consulting documents.
• Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and engineering designs.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control for project deliverables and implement project-level quality procedures.
• Build client and employee relationships, support business development, and prepare technical and cost proposals.
• Conduct field inspections and prioritize health and safety across stormwater compliance, remediation, and hazardous-waste-related work.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience with civil or environmental engineering and consulting firms.
• Experience with stormwater management design, permitting, and inspection in New York State and New York City.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination of internal teams and subcontractors.
• Technical expertise in environmental investigations, remediation, and environmental compliance.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with a current annual refresher and 8-hour HAZWOPER Supervisors certification required.
