Field Service Technician (Entry Level) (Chemical Equipment)

Location: Traverse City, Cadillac, or Mount Pleasant, Michigan; candidate must live in a specified city and work onsite at customer facilities.

Salary: $22.99–$25.84 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.
• Service equipment used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations.
• Diagnose technical issues using root cause analysis and appropriate tools.
• Travel between customer accounts, spending approximately 30% of the day driving.
• Provide onsite service and maintenance while meeting occupational health and safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of tools, data, service equipment, and maintenance needs.
• Proficiency with laptops, mobile phones, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Must be eligible to work onsite at customer facilities; immigration sponsorship is not available.
