Field Service Engineer III (C3)

Location: Austin, TX; on-site work required. Travel required approximately 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $37.00–$51.20 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to assess and resolve technical issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or another equipment-support industry required.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all on-site safety, environmental, and COVID-19 protocols.

• PDC (Process, Diagnostics, and Control) experience.
