Field Service Engineer - Process, Diagnostics, and Control (PDC)

Salary: $42.50–$58.90 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to assess equipment issues and develop solutions with senior engineers.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with customers and senior engineers to understand process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support equipment operation and service delivery.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Familiarity with scanning electron microscopes (SEM).
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, along with basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet safety, environmental, clean-room, and physical requirements.
