Annual base salary: $60,800–$100,300

What you will do

• Gather and analyze financial statements and other information to evaluate business risk.
• Build relationships with agents, brokers, and insured clients.
• Complete classroom instruction, mentorship, and on-the-job training in underwriting.
• Underwrite, market, negotiate, and influence agents and brokers while managing a profitable book of business.
• Build internal relationships and contribute to sales planning across the business unit.
• Travel to internal meetings and external meetings with agents, brokers, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of applicable business experience.
• Applicable professional experience.
• Initiative and the ability to learn the industry, product line, internal programs, and platforms.
• Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Analytical skills and the ability to evaluate business risk.
