What you will do

• Support Benefit Consultants with financial consulting for employee benefit clients.
• Evaluate cost projections, plan design models, utilization metrics, large claims, stop-loss exposure, demographics, and IBNR.
• Develop, review, and present financial deliverables and data analytics for current and prospective clients.
• Participate in finalist presentations, client meetings, claims reviews, and prospective-client analysis.
• Oversee Financial Analysts’ monthly reports, client exhibits, and large-claim detail.
• Maintain knowledge of benefits compliance and regulations and complete related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
• 5+ years of employee benefits financial experience.
• Proficient to expert knowledge of financial analysis, underwriting, renewals, marketing, and reporting.
• Active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License, or ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
• Strong to expert Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, confidentiality, and independent judgment skills.
