Quality Inspector - Weekend Shift

Location: Eleanor, West Virginia, United States; onsite weekend shift

What you will do

• Perform in-process, pre-assembly, final, and incoming-material inspections against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Complete quality control checklists, release quality hold points, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Audit pick lists and shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide weekend-shift safety leadership, verify JSAs, PPE, and safe-work procedures, and intervene in unsafe situations.
• Exercise stop-work authority, document hazards and incidents, and coordinate emergency response until leadership or EHS takes over.
• Communicate safety handoffs and quality or supplier issues across shifts and functions.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and sound judgment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Practical understanding of fabrication, pre-assembly, receiving, lifting operations, machine guarding, and hazardous energy.
• Experience with ERP or quality systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of JSAs, safe-work practices, hazard recognition, behavioral safety, and basic incident reporting.
• Clear communication, strong situational awareness, and attention to detail.
