Production Inspector (5:00am to 1:30pm) Viper Internal

What you will do

• Perform final inspections of switches, component parts, and orders before shipment.
• Inspect work before it moves to the next operation and document results on production and quality forms.
• Prepare inspection findings, Non-Conformance Reports, and Customer Improvement Initiatives for repetitive problems.
• Report ISO standard violations and stop non-conforming processes after notifying the supervisor.
• Help create and implement process control charts for critical processes with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and production teams.
• Train production personnel and team members in effective process control and inspection methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and a Fluke multimeter.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams is desirable.
• Ability to work in a medium-heavy physical demand role, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance and up to 40 pounds frequently.

Nice to have

• One to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using an ERP system.
