Production Inspector (2:00pm to 10:30pm) Viper Final

Salary: $20–$23 per hour plus a $3.00 shift differential

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, part orders, and completed products before shipment or transfer to the next operation.
• Verify conformance with production controls, ISO standards, drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and wiring or ladder diagrams.
• Prepare inspection findings, production and quality forms, and Non-Conformance Reports.
• Train production personnel in inspection and process-control methods.
• Report ISO violations and notify supervisors when non-conforming processes require a shutdown.
• Create Customer Improvement Initiatives for repetitive problems and help implement process control charts for critical processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to use measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, and a Fluke multimeter.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is desirable.
• Medium–heavy physical demand role involving continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
