Production Inspector (10:00pm to 6:30am) Viper Final

Salary: $22.50–$23.75 per hour plus a $3.00 shift premium

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, part orders, and completed products before shipment or transfer to the next operation.
• Perform final inspections and document results using production and quality forms.
• Prepare reports, enter Non-Conformance Reports, and report ISO standard violations to the Cell Leader or Manager.
• Write Customer Improvement Initiatives for repetitive quality problems.
• Help create and implement process control charts for critical processes with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and production teams.
• Train production personnel and other team members in effective process control and inspection methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ideally, 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams is desirable.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and Fluke multimeters.
• Ability to meet medium-heavy physical demands, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
