What you will do
- Measure and visually inspect materials against internal and external customer quality requirements.
- Complete inspections at receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping stages.
- Record measurements and other critical quality data accurately.
- Identify tolerances from prints and related documents and verify that operations remain within specification.
- Stop affected operations and notify responsible personnel and management when nonconformances are found.
- Assist with quality issue investigations, corrective actions, reports, and correspondence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to use prints, checklists, and various measuring devices.
- Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow established instructions and guidelines.
Nice to have
- 1–2 years of management or quality assurance experience.
