Field Service Technician (Entry Level) - South Shore, MA (Commercial Equipment)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; candidate must live in the specified city and work in the field at customer sites.

Salary: $29.00–$32.62 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.
• Service equipment used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations.
• Work independently at customer accounts to deliver reliable service and support customer retention.
• Travel between customer accounts, spending approximately 30% of the workday driving in city, rural, and expressway conditions.
• Perform physical installation and maintenance activities, including lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in varied temperatures and warehouse environments.
• Provide on-call coverage, including occasional weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment using root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of tools, service data, and maintenance requirements.
• Proficiency with laptops, mobile phones, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely are required.
• Must be eligible to work onsite at customer facilities and must live in the specified city.
