Enterprise Customer Engineer (Network Security)

Location: Hybrid, Singapore; travel of up to 20–50% may be required for customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and in-person collaboration.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, validation, proof-of-concept planning, presentations, demonstrations, and architectural design with Account Executives.
• Map customer infrastructure to hirify.global solutions across DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, Network Security, WAF, and Workers.
• Design onboarding and migration blueprints, guide customer engineering teams, and oversee implementation without executing the implementation directly.
• Monitor customer health, telemetry, integration risks, adoption, retention, and account expansion throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Carry a variable quota and lead technical QBRs that connect platform capabilities with business value and return on investment.
• Use AI agents, LLMs, scripting, and workflow automation for security questionnaires, sandbox provisioning, telemetry monitoring, and documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Ability to design and clearly explain complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Strong communication, presentation, consultative advisory, stakeholder management, and business-value translation skills.
• Experience in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with knowledge of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
• Depth in at least four technical areas, including Internet fundamentals, security, performance, AI proficiency, coding and scripting, or developer platforms.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience creating workshops, code samples, documentation, or developer onboarding resources.
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and model-access controls.
• Understanding of PCI DSS, HIPAA, or SOC 2 requirements.
• Background in hyperscalers, digital-native companies, distributed systems environments, or startups.
