Manager, Structural Engineering

Location: Onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, California, United States. Site visits may be required. hirify.global does not provide relocation assistance.

Annual base salary: $105,000–$140,000.

hirify.global is an independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee delivering the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What you will do

• Lead structural engineering design and development for Olympic and Paralympic venues, including temporary infrastructure and renovation projects.
• Manage internal engineering teams, external engineers, consultants, and installation teams.
• Analyze existing infrastructure and define required structural improvements and modifications.
• Coordinate structural designs with architects, engineers, Energy, Technology, Villages, and other infrastructure functions.
• Develop engineering design guides, venue design books, technical publications, review processes, and construction-level documentation.
• Support integrated schedules, budgets, procurement, permitting, risk management, event operations, and health and safety compliance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering infrastructure design and construction.
• Accredited bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• Experience leading diverse teams on complex, high-profile infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing external consultants and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering tools and software.
• Knowledge of structural engineering activities, industry codes and standards, and fundamental project management concepts.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering license.
• Project management or construction certifications.
