Systems Integration Engineer II (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States; hybrid environment with occasional travel

What you will do

• Perform intermediate systems integration tasks across software, hardware, and subsystems.
• Conduct requirements analysis and management with minimal supervision.
• Lead verification and validation activities for assigned components or subsystems.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, including lab integration and testing.
• Support configuration management, technical documentation, and aerospace and defense standards.
• Troubleshoot technical problems independently and contribute to final deliverable products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in systems integration or a related field.
• Proficiency with integration tools and methodologies and basic engineering knowledge.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Understanding of requirements development, system design, systems integration, technical risk management, and V&V principles.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodologies and industry standards.
• INCOSE or ASEP experience or certification.
• Aerospace, defense, government, or U.S. military background.
• Experience with simulation, implementation, lab integration, schematics, service manuals, and test procedures.
