What you will do

• Perform advanced engineering work and projects under the guidance of higher-level engineers.
• Apply engineering theory, standards, codes, and regulations to analyze and resolve routine technical problems.
• Coordinate the work activities of others when required to complete engineering tasks.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost estimates, and status monitoring.
• Prepare reports and technical papers and communicate engineering information clearly.
• Apply economic analysis while supporting reliable electricity delivery and environmental protection.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of related engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program; or 2 years of experience with a master's degree or PhD in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology may satisfy the education requirement when combined with a certified Professional Engineer license.
• A non-ABET bachelor's degree may be accepted with a master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET-accredited bachelor's program.
• Professional Engineer registration in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication, teamwork, initiative, and routine decision-making skills are required.
