Senior Technical Program Manager (AI/ML)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $184,500–$258,000 total cash annually; performance-based pay may reach $295,000.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs from strategy through delivery.
• Align engineering, product, operations, business stakeholders, and external partners around measurable outcomes.
• Define program vision, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, governance, and delivery mechanisms across multiple services or technical domains.
• Drive execution through planning, risk management, issue resolution, transparent communication, and structured problem solving.
• Evaluate architecture considerations, system dependencies, data flows, APIs, integrations, reliability, security, and operational readiness.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions using metrics and operational insights to improve delivery and product outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience managing complex technical programs involving multiple teams, services, or technical domains.
• Experience owning roadmaps, dependencies, risks, milestones, governance, and executive-level communication.
• Strong technical aptitude in system architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, reliability, security, and operational readiness.
• Experience using program metrics, delivery mechanisms, and structured problem-solving practices to achieve measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI/ML product development lifecycles, experimentation, responsible deployment, monitoring, and adoption.
• Experience with external partners or vendors in B2B, API-driven, or regulated ecosystems.
• Experience communicating status, risks, and trade-offs to senior and executive leadership, including VP-level stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring technical program managers, senior developers, or program managers.
• Experience leading incident response or postmortem processes for large-scale technical systems.
