Facilities Technician I, Compounding (Pharmaceutical Equipment)

What you will do

• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on pharmaceutical laboratory equipment, including tablet presses, blenders, mills, hoods, tablet coaters, air compressors, and electrical controls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test equipment across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, compressed-air, and HVAC systems.
• Document maintenance data, calibration records, equipment logs, validation reports, and corrective actions.
• Identify facilities and equipment issues, analyze trends, and implement actions to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost savings.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, emergencies, and production interruptions while coordinating repairs with production personnel.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in maintenance or engineering in a related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate advanced technical equipment independently.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management applications and interpret maintenance data.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, and perform extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting.
