Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing M (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment, support systems, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machines, systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect machinery and systems to identify potential failures and prevent operational downtime.
• Implement improvements that increase the efficiency, reliability, and functionality of facility systems.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure work meets established policies, procedures, and performance targets.
• Provide guidance, training, and oversight to junior team members and coordinate with internal teams, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing repairs, conduit installation, wire pulling, electrical measurements, motor controls, sensors, and electrical control devices.
• Understanding of mechanical blueprints, fluid principles, preventive maintenance, and SDWT principles.
• Knowledge of positive-pressure requirements in controlled environments and refrigeration components, including condensers, pumps, evaporators, expansion devices, and safety controls.
• Ability to follow lockout/tagout procedures and protective clothing requirements.
• Ability to perform physical work involving lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and working near moving parts.

Nice to have

• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment or transformers.
• Ability to solder, braze, and install copper pipe, tubing, and fittings.
• Experience identifying gauges, cutting and bending sheet metal, and operating air-handling systems.
