What you will do

• Maintain facility structures, grounds, chillers, air compressors, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and other plant equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and equipment problems using voltmeters, ohmmeters, meggers, and other testing instruments.
• Inspect premises and perform repairs, alterations, and skilled trade work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Coordinate facility upgrades and repairs with manufacturing, process engineering, and the company facilities team.
• Oversee janitorial, landscaping, HVAC servicing, rubbish removal, and other contractor-provided maintenance services.
• Monitor environmental, health, and safety systems, including eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, air monitoring equipment, sprinklers, and hazardous-waste disposal.

Requirements

• Technical diploma.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, digital multimeters, ammeters, circuit testers, drills, and power saws.
• Basic knowledge of building electrical systems, plumbing, and wall structures.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel for work documentation and status tracking.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, use required PPE, and work in noisy, confined, and potentially clean-room environments.
