Supply Chain Manager (Automotive)

Location: Fully onsite in Alamance, North Carolina, United States

What you will do

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and manufacturing requirements.
• Oversee demand planning, production scheduling, inventory control, material flow, transportation, warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
• Lead sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier development, and supplier performance management.
• Monitor inventory turns, on-time delivery, supplier performance, quality, and cost KPIs.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning, supplier diversification, and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Service while supporting product launches and engineering changes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive supply chain experience in a Tier 1 or high-value manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing supply chain, procurement, planning, or logistics teams.
• At least 3 years leading planners, buyers, schedulers, logistics, or warehouse personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, inventory control, and production scheduling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Plex, plus knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, JIT, Kanban, and Six Sigma.
