Senior Supply Chain Planner (Aerospace)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite five days a week. Remote work is not considered. Travel to hirify.global factories may be required up to 15%.

Annual salary: $110,000–$150,000 USD. Hourly pay range: $52.88–$72.12 USD.

hirify.global develops and manufactures critical avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components and subsystems for aerospace, defense, and infrastructure platforms across seven factories.

What you will do

• Own planning requirements for hirify.global’s custom MRP, including demand calculations, BOM revisions, lead times, order policies, exception logic, and RFPO release.
• Work with engineers through system design, development, release, and ongoing improvement.
• Test MRP functionality against real builds and data, define acceptance criteria, and identify failure cases before production.
• Own the El Segundo master production schedule, including build sequences, quantities, dates, customer commitments, and factory capacity.
• Maintain planning parameters, BOMs, inventory records, and engineering changes to improve data integrity.
• Release purchase signals, identify shortages and schedule risks, and establish planning standards and documentation for future factories and planners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, master scheduling, or supply chain systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with at least one ERP or MRP implementation, migration, or major reconfiguration.
• Demonstrated ownership of a master production schedule or significant planning segment.
• Deep knowledge of MRP calculations, order policies, planning settings, BOMs, and engineering changes.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, discrepancy-resolution, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Must be based in El Segundo, California, work onsite five days per week, and be a U.S. person under ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing experience.
• Experience writing planning software requirements with engineering teams.
• Experience planning across multiple sites or factories.
• Familiarity with configuration control, effectivity dates, engineering change orders, SQL, Power BI, or capacity planning.
