RN III Nurse Home Visitor (Maternal and Child Health)

Location: Bryan, Texas, United States; travel to participating families' homes is required.

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to women and families enrolled in the Nurse-Family Partnership program.
• Conduct home visits, drive to client homes, and promote maternal and child health through education and guidance.
• Deliver patient care, evaluations, and treatments in a clinical setting.
• Maintain a caseload of up to 30 clients and evaluate, monitor, track, and report client progress and data.
• Participate in reflective practice, NFP team meetings, community coalitions, marketing, outreach, training, and professional development.
• Manage clinic inventory and requisitions for medical supplies, medications, and equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of related nursing experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in the state of Texas.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, work cooperatively, and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Ability to travel and provide services at clients' homes.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Experience in maternal and child health, public or community health, mental health, or home visits.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
