Business Operations/Financial Management Subject Matter Expert (FM8)

Location: On-site in Chantilly, Virginia, United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Track and execute budgets, funding allocations, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
• Use CCaR and advanced financial systems to create reporting products and executive business metrics.
• Analyze program financial performance and mitigate execution risks and funding shortfalls.
• Lead Program Management Reviews and All Calls, prepare executive briefings, and coordinate with senior acquisition leaders.
• Maintain audit-ready financial compliance across high-visibility defense programs.

Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering required.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, or the sciences.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in DoD financial management, acquisition programs, or budget execution.
• Expert proficiency with CCaR, financial tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Extensive experience mitigating execution risks for multi-million-dollar space portfolios.
