Senior Manager, Safety & ISO Systems (EHS)

Location: Wilson, North Carolina, United States; site-based role.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus with a target of 14% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the integrated Energy, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
• Ensure conformity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, corporate requirements, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Plan and conduct local audits, participate in global, regional, internal, and external audits, and audit other sites as needed.
• Define EHS, energy, sustainability, and compliance objectives, then track performance through KPIs, EnPIs, metrics, and management reviews.
• Monitor legal and other EEOHS requirements, assess occupational health and safety risks and environmental impacts, and manage corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with EHS, engineering, maintenance, production, quality, continuous improvement, HR, purchasing, and other functions while reporting performance and issues to site, regional, and global management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in an ISO, security, and/or EHS-related position, including at least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience managing environmental management systems and sustainability programs.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Lead Auditor Training certification for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
• RCRA Hazardous Waste Management certification.
