EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Burlington, Washington, United States; onsite at a manufacturing facility

Salary: $106,114–$181,910 annual salary

Produces advanced lightweight composite materials, including carbon fiber, woven reinforcements, resins, prepregs, honeycombs, and engineered composite structures for global industrial and aerospace markets.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, maintain, and manage environmental health and safety programs and initiatives for the manufacturing site.
• Partner with site leadership and operations to build a zero-incident culture, improve protective measures, and define EHS strategy and objectives.
• Ensure compliance through inspections, audits, operational readiness reviews, safe operating procedure approvals, and permit management.
• Maintain the environmental management system and support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification activities, including liaison with third-party auditors.
• Lead risk and hazard evaluations, process safety activities, corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and resolution of EHS barriers.
• Track and report leading and lagging EHS metrics in Cority, deliver training, and collaborate with government agencies, employees, contractors, and the global EHS team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of EHS experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience coordinating regulatory compliance actions, permits, inspections, findings, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Experience with root-cause and corrective-action methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience implementing ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or person granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating Process Safety Management activities and compliance.
• Familiarity with HAZOP and other process hazard analysis methodologies.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and PSM regulations.
• Professional certification or ability to obtain CSP, CIH, or a similar certification.
