EHS Manager (Environmental Health & Safety)

Location: Medina, New York, United States; on-site manufacturing facility

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead site-wide environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs and strategies.
• Maintain and improve EHSS management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Set goals, metrics, and improvement initiatives for safety, environmental performance, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify and mitigate workplace risks through assessments, inspections, industrial hygiene activities, and proactive problem-solving.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and environmental events and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, facilities, HR, corporate EHSS, and plant leadership on projects, training, emergency response, budgets, reporting, contractors, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of EHSS, industrial hygiene, or related experience, including 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, compliance activities, corrective actions, permitting, environmental reporting, and sustainability programs.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, plus experience using data and metrics for continuous improvement.
• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or a related EHSS credential; authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
